The super event involved inviting Valdeir Vieira, the Brazilian head coach of the National Football Team at the time, to the studio as an exclusive guest for a Varzesh Az Negah-e-Do special program on the nostalgic December 8th. Lothar Matthäus, the nostalgic global football icon and former German national team captain, was hosted by Iranian cinema stars in the run-up to the World Cup.

On the first day of their “100 Days to the 2014 World Cup” campaign, the Varzesh Az Negah-e-Do production team kicked off this major project with the presence of a world-renowned football star. Matthäus was the guest of IRIB Channel 2 and the Varzesh Az Negah- e-Do special program.

Furthermore, during a side event of his visit, the famous and popular football star was hosted by Iranian cinema legends and superstars of the silver screen, generating videos and news that “bombed” the social media landscape.
